Australian professional cyclist Jai Hindley has been confirmed to ride in the 2024 Tour de France as a secondary rider for the Bora-Hansgrohe team.

Hindley, 27, has previously participated in the Giro d'Italia, winning the 2022 edition. He will now turn his attention to the Tour de France, which will be held from June 29 to July 21, 2024.

Primož Roglič, the Slovenian cyclist who won the Tour de France in 2020 and 2022, will serve as the team's sole leader. Hindley will be expected to support Roglič and play a key role in helping him defend his title.

The 2024 Tour de France will consist of 21 stages, covering a total distance of over 3,300 kilometers. It is regarded as one of the most prestigious cycling events in the world.
